Inorbit Malls today announced the completion of its acquisition of two prominent mall assets previously operated by Prozone Realty Limited, located in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (formerly Aurangabad) and Coimbatore. Marking a significant step forward in the company’s growth journey and strengthening its presence across India’s emerging regional markets.
The Coimbatore and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar malls are among the largest horizontally designed shopping malls in India. The Coimbatore mall offers a distinctive and expansive retail format, well-matched to the region’s dynamic consumer base. Meanwhile, the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar asset is the only shopping mall in the city, giving it a strong catchment and strategic importance in the Marathwada region.
With these additions, Inorbit Malls is expanding its footprint into new markets while building a differentiated portfolio of retail destinations across India. Prozone Realty’s official stock-exchange filing has this number gross consideration of ₹1,242.50 crore, subject to adjustment for assets and liabilities at closing. 1.2 million sq. ft.; the more precise legal/deal reporting puts it at approximately 1.1 million sq. ft. — 500,000 sq. ft. in Coimbatore and 600,000 sq. ft. in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
