Global sneaker and streetwear giant Foot Locker is strengthening its footprint in India with the launch of a flagship store in Mumbai, marking the brand’s second major physical outlet in the country after its debut in Delhi. The brand’s India operations are powered through a dual partnership—Metro Brands Ltd handles offline retail, while Nykaa Fashion leads the exclusive e-commerce strategy.

The newly opened Mumbai store, located in a prime fashion and retail district, introduces Foot Locker’s global “Reimagined” retail concept to the city. Designed to elevate customer experience, the concept features interactive product displays, community-focused zones, and customization options for sneaker lovers.

“Mumbai is the perfect city for Foot Locker’s next step in India,” said Nissan Joseph, CEO of Metro Brands Limited. “This city’s energy, diversity, and deep connection to fashion make it an ideal place to expand Foot Locker’s presence. We’re bringing an elevated retail experience that reflects both the city’s passion for sneakers and Foot Locker’s global culture.”

The multi-level store spans over 5,000 sq. ft., with the ground floor dedicated to men’s footwear and apparel, complete with services like foot scanning, shoe protection, and loyalty programs through the Kick It Club. The first floor houses collections for women and kids, alongside the Sneaker Hub, where customers can access customization services, sneaker care, and exclusive product drops.

Consumers will find a curated range of products from global brands like Nike, Jordan Brand, adidas, PUMA, New Balance, Fila, and New Era, complemented by the expertise of Foot Locker’s staff, known as Stripers, who are trained to guide customers through trends, fit, and care.

On the digital front, Nykaa Fashion continues to scale Foot Locker’s online presence through a dedicated brand site and integrated shop-in-shop platforms on both Nykaa Fashion and Nykaa Man. The experience mirrors the brand’s in-store concept, with interactive features, exclusive drops, and a seamless checkout experience aimed at India’s tech-savvy sneaker audience.
