Currently active across 19 cities and over 2,900 pincodes, Flipkart Minutes is halfway to its goal of establishing 800 dark stores across India.

Flipkart Minutes, the quick-commerce arm of Walmart-owned Flipkart, has completed one year of operations, registering impressive growth metrics as it prepares for a busy festive season. Since its launch in August 2024, the platform has attracted over 50 million unique visitors, achieved 50% month-on-month growth, and is doubling order volumes every 45 days.

Currently active across 19 cities and over 2,900 pincodes, Flipkart Minutes is halfway to its goal of establishing 800 dark stores across India. Its assortment now spans 900+ categories, including essentials, food & beverages, personal care, electronics, and lifestyle products. Smartphones and consumer electronics have seen significant traction, with over 5 lakh smartphones and 20 lakh consumer electronics units sold to date.

Festivals are emerging as strong growth catalysts. During Raksha Bandhan, the platform saw a 30x spike in gifting orders, with peak demand between 7–9 PM.

As it enters its second year, Flipkart Minutes plans to enhance its AI-driven demand forecasting, deepen brand partnerships, and strengthen customer experience through localized execution. Expansion into high-demand cities and further investments in backend infrastructure are also on the roadmap.

The platform has partnered with nearly 200 direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands to improve visibility and fulfillment speed. It has also onboarded 1,000+ Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), enabling direct delivery of fresh produce to consumers while offering better margins for farmers.

With its robust momentum and festive tailwinds, Flipkart Minutes is poised to scale further as it redefines hyperlocal convenience for millions across India.
