Dockers will debut in India as a bottomwear focused lifestyle brand.

American casualwear brand Dockers is set to make its return to the Indian market through a long term licensing agreement with Thomas Scott (India) Limited (TSIL), which has secured exclusive rights to develop and grow the brand in the country.

As part of the agreement with ABG Dockers LLC, a subsidiary of Authentic Brands Group, TSIL has been appointed the exclusive licensee for Dockers in India. The company will be responsible for product design, development, manufacturing, distribution, retail, and e-commerce operations. In addition, TSIL has been designated as a Global Designated Supplier, enabling it to manufacture Dockers products for the brand's international partner network.

Dockers will debut in India as a bottomwear focused lifestyle brand. Its inaugural collection, launching in the Autumn/Winter 2026 season, will feature chinos, trousers, and denim across men's, women's, and kids' categories, along with a curated range of apparel and lifestyle products.

The brand will adopt a digital first launch strategy before expanding its presence through exclusive brand outlets, shop in shop formats, and multi brand retail channels across the country.

The partnership further strengthens TSIL's portfolio of owned, licensed, and international fashion brands. The company currently manages more than 50,000 SKUs across over 15 brands and operates four manufacturing facilities with a monthly production capacity of approximately 1,50,000 units.

Commenting on the partnership, Vedant Bang, Managing Director, Thomas Scott (India) Limited, said, “Dockers built its heritage on the art of dressing easy and that's exactly what India is ready for. We're here to make it the number one name in bottomwear across men, women, and kids, and a lifestyle brand people live in. Our partnership with Authentic gives us the foundation while Global Designated Supplier’s role affirms our manufacturing strength, and the retail license, our distribution reach, especially online.”

Henry Stupp, President, Lifestyle EMEA-India at Authentic, said, "India is an important growth market for Dockers, and Thomas Scott is the right partner to introduce the brand to consumers across the country. Their expertise across product, manufacturing and retail makes them well positioned to build Dockers for long-term success."

The agreement extends beyond the Indian market, with TSIL becoming a manufacturing partner for Dockers' global supply network, further strengthening India's position as a key sourcing and manufacturing destination for global fashion brands.
