Arvind Fashions Ltd announced on Tuesday that its Managing Director and CEO, Shailesh Chaturvedi, has resigned from his position, effective September 30, 2025. The resignation was disclosed in a regulatory filing, citing personal reasons.
Chaturvedi has been a key figure at Arvind since joining the company in 2006 to head its joint venture with global fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger. Over the years, he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s brand portfolio, including taking charge of Calvin Klein in FY18 and Arrow in FY19.
With a career spanning nearly 30 years, Chaturvedi previously held leadership roles at Madura Coats and United Colors of Benetton (UCB) before bringing his expertise to Arvind. Under his stewardship, Arvind Fashions navigated significant shifts in India’s apparel industry, strengthening its position in the premium and bridge-to-luxury segments.
The company has not yet announced a successor.
