Kids’ footwear brand Aretto is stepping up its retail expansion strategy, targeting more than 100 outlets by FY27 as it strengthens its omnichannel presence across India and evaluates opportunities in international markets.
Founded by Satyajit Mittal, Aretto has expanded from its first store in Pune to a network of 30 retail outlets. The brand is now targeting more than 65 stores during its third year of offline operations, with plans to cross the 100 store milestone by FY27.
Alongside its retail expansion, Aretto is focusing on strengthening its proprietary expandable footwear technology, which forms a key part of its product proposition. The company is also investing in domestic manufacturing capabilities to support its growing retail and distribution network.
As part of its next phase of growth, Aretto is evaluating select international markets, signalling its intent to take its technology driven kids’ footwear proposition beyond India.
To support its expansion plans, the company is also open to raising fresh capital. The funds would be directed towards research and development, manufacturing, distribution and international expansion.
With its focus on technology, product innovation and an expanding physical and digital retail presence, Aretto aims to strengthen its position in India’s growing kids’ footwear market while building a foundation for international growth.
