The MoU was signed by Mr. Suseok Park, Regional Head of Northeast Asia & ASEAN, KOSME and Ms. Ashita Marya, CEO, Franchise India, in the presence of Mr. Jae Kyeong Lee, Managing Director, KOSME.
The collaboration aims to facilitate market entry, business expansion, strategic partnerships and investment opportunities between Korea and India, leveraging Franchise India's leadership in franchising, business expansion, media, exhibitions and entrepreneurship development.
This partnership brings together the innovative strengths of Korean beauty with India’s expanding franchise ecosystem and rapidly growing consumer market, paving the way for meaningful collaboration, economic growth and new business opportunities between the two nations.
The strategic alliance will create multiple avenues for Korean beauty brands to enter, scale and thrive in India. By combining K-beauty’s advanced formulations, cutting-edge technology and innovative product development capabilities with India’s vast and diverse consumer base, the collaboration is expected to unlock significant opportunities for entrepreneurs, investors and beauty businesses across both markets.
Entrepreneurs will gain access to Korean beauty expertise, premium skincare and cosmetic solutions, while investors will benefit from opportunities across skincare, cosmetics, wellness and emerging beauty concepts that blend global innovation with local consumer preferences.
The partnership will also facilitate technology transfer, joint ventures, collaborative research and development initiatives, strategic marketing support and smoother pathways for international expansion, creating a dynamic ecosystem that supports sustainable business growth.
“By signing this MoU today, we are not merely formalizing an agreement; we are laying a strong foundation for deeper economic ties, enhanced entrepreneurial success and a shared future of mutual growth and prosperity. This partnership will act as a powerful catalyst for innovation, increased investment and greater international business collaboration in the beauty sector,” said Ashita Marya, CEO, Franchise India.
Together, KOSME and Franchise India are poised to unlock new possibilities, redefine the beauty landscape and create lasting value for businesses and consumers across Korea and India.
The event was attended by representatives from leading beauty companies, including Beautytalk (The Plang BeautyTalk) and SKINTL Enterprises.
