HealthKart has expanded its retail footprint to more than 250 stores across 111 cities in India, achieving a major milestone in its omnichannel growth journey.
Since launching its first outlet in Punjabi Bagh, Delhi, in 2013, the nutrition and wellness platform has steadily scaled its brick-and-mortar presence while strengthening its digital ecosystem, creating an integrated network that offers consumers seamless access to nutrition, fitness, and wellness products across online and offline channels.
Commenting on the milestone, Manish Mangotra, Senior Vice President - Offline, Bright Lifecare, said, "Crossing 250 stores is a testament to the trust consumers have placed in HealthKart over the years. While digital channels offer convenience and scale, physical stores play an equally important role in helping consumers discover authentic products, seek expert guidance and shop with confidence. From a single store in Delhi to more than 250 stores across 111 cities today, our focus remains on making trusted nutrition and wellness solutions accessible to every Indian. Our omnichannel approach allows us to combine the reach of digital commerce with the assurance and personalized experience that consumers continue to value in physical retail."
HealthKart said its expanding retail presence is helping address common challenges faced by consumers in the nutrition segment, such as concerns around product authenticity, choosing the right supplements, and accessing expert guidance. Through its stores, customers can interact with products firsthand and receive personalised recommendations from trained advisors.
The company’s retail network now extends across metropolitan centres, Tier I and Tier II cities, and emerging fitness hubs nationwide. It noted that North and South India have emerged as strong growth regions, driven by increasing fitness consciousness and a greater focus on preventive healthcare.
Young adults aged 18–34 make up the largest share of HealthKart’s store customers. While male consumers currently account for the majority of footfall, the company said it is witnessing rising demand from women exploring nutrition, fitness, and wellness solutions.
Protein supplements, vitamins, minerals and health supplements (VMHS), pre-workout formulations, and intra-workout nutrition continue to be among the strongest-performing categories across stores. Key brands in HealthKart’s portfolio include MuscleBlaze, Ronnie Coleman Signature Series (RC), HK Vitals, TrueBasics, and Gritzo.
The retailer also highlighted a broader evolution in consumer preferences, with demand increasingly extending beyond muscle-building products to encompass weight management, sports performance, holistic wellness, and healthy ageing solutions.
According to the company, its physical stores serve as an important touchpoint for customer acquisition and engagement, helping introduce consumers to its wider brand ecosystem while complementing its digital platforms. HealthKart plans to further strengthen its omnichannel footprint as India’s health and wellness sector continues to expand.
Established in 2011, HealthKart has built a portfolio of nutrition and wellness brands, including MuscleBlaze, HK Vitals, Gritzo, and TrueBasics, serving customers across the country through a combination of online and offline channels.
