Target India, extension of Minneapolis-based retail company Target Corporation recently announced the launch of the Target Accelerator Program to help early stage start-ups develop concepts that could improve Target’s business and the broader retail industry. Through this accelerator program, Target will work with technology start-ups to help them develop their transformative business ideas by providing them access to mentors, tools, resources and operational support.
Target India, extension of Minneapolis-based retail company Target Corporation recently announced the launch of the Target Accelerator Program to help early stage start-ups develop concepts that could improve Target’s business and the broader retail industry. Through this accelerator program, Target will work with technology start-ups to help them develop their transformative business ideas by providing them access to mentors, tools, resources and operational support.
The broad themes of focus include: Mobile, Content, Social, Search, Data and Analytics. The four month immersive program is aimed at helping start-ups develop their ideas in a specially designed energetic and creative hub at Target India’s office in Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore.
The five start-ups which have been identified for this program include Turnaround Innovision which automates generation of rotating 3D images through their patent pending turntable and image processing software; Konotor, which enables an in-app two-way communication with seamless integration with existing apps in both iOS and Android; muHive, which has a work flow management tool to associate sentiment classifiers real-time, attach internal segment definitions and dynamically route workflow to simplify social conversations; Unbxd, whose SmartEngage platform enables personalization in search, product recommendations, landing pages and navigation; and Instaclique, which integrates social media conversations online and through mobile apps to increase customer engagement.
