About Us:

The gamified hands-on learning center, techJOYnT brings joy back to the learning process of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education for K 8 (ages 6 14) tinkerers with its self-directed and socially connected learning that emphasize sophisticated, hands-on projects while increasing comprehension of academic concepts as young minds create, tinker, and learn.

Our proprietary learning pathway of GEAR (Game Design, Electronics, App Development, and Robotics) offers students mentorship by local techJOYnT certified STEM coaches to foster community belonging and a lifetime interest in STEM within a class of 25 students. Classes progress from age-appropriate introductory to advanced level courses in each learning pathway and are gamified through an online learning platform that challenges students to continue learning and practicing their newly acquired skills at techJOYnT.

techJOYnT also delivers learning programs to satellite locations within a 50-mile radius of the learning center through the companys proprietary STEM Mobile Labs. STEM Mobile Lab programs are offered at local libraries, community centers, and public and private schools, thus providing the community more accessible to techJOYnT learning opportunities. We also host birthday parties, organize field trips, prepare educational workshops, offer summer, winter, and fall break day camps, and more at our learning centers.

Following a gym-based business model, individual customers may choose to participate in competitively affordable weekly learning center memberships or pay per techJOYnT course, camp, or other program or service enrolled. Schools, community organizations, and local businesses may choose to pay a competitive group contract fee for techJOYnT programs, events, and services. We also provide community events, game nights, design competitions, and STEM After School Franchise throughout the year.

Our specially developed proprietary GEAR curricula blend instruction with fun hands-on projects and inquiry-based learning within a workshop environment. Using agamifiedlearning approach, our proprietary online learning platform is enhanced by the use of well-established education performance indicators to individually monitor each childs long-term learning success by tracking their progress and recognizing their skills and achievements withdigital badges. We promote a sense of belonging and community through social interaction of peers and mentors in our programs that promote the development of lifetime professional skills, such as teamwork, project management, critical thinking, and adaptability. We also provide educational workshops and individualized consultation services to parents and educators of our young tinkerers.
