About Us:

Rana Hospitalstarted its operations on a modest scale in the year 2002 in a small building. By dint of the strenuous work put in by Dr Hitender Suri, the hospital won name and fame in a short span of time. Though Dr Suri did brisk business in his OPD, he concentrated on PILES and left no stone unturned to find painless and affordable treatment for this disease. His dogged determination paid dividends and patients came flocking to his clinic for thetreatment of PILES. Gradually,RANA HOSPITALbecame a household name in the whole of NORTH INDIA. Dr Suri introduced innovative techniques includingLASER surgery for the treatment of piles. To cater to the needs of the rush of patients from far and wide, Dr Suri constructed a state-of-art hospital in the heart of the city and shifted to the new premises in 2010. Sh. Tikshan Sood, Minister for Medical Education and Research, Forest and Labour Department, inaugurated the building on 16thOctober 2010.

Rana Hospitalstarted its construction with a dream of providing the best facilities for Piles, Fissures, Fistula and all Anorectal problems. We have the credit of starting the best treatment for piles for the first time in region.

We are the pioneer in starting the Doppler Treatment for Haemorrhoids in 2004. We startedInfra-red Coagulation for 1st and 2nd Degree Haemorrhoids in 2002 (Infrared coagulator is a Non-Invasive treatment for Haemorrhoids). We started Diode Laser Treatment for Haemorrhoids in 2008 for the first time in Punjab. Rana Hospital provides modern and Ayurvedic treatment side by side, for Anorectal diseases.

We have ancient Ayurvedic treatment forFistulain ANO. The technique is WHO approved and is having lowest recurrence rate in the world. We are also doing Laparoscopic surgery for Hernia, Appendix and Gall Bladder Stones, Prostate, uterus etc.
