Kinderstand is a unique brand of pre-school from Everonn Education Limited that focuses on offering comprehensive full-day care for children between the ages of 2 and 8 years. Kinderstand offers three unique and technology-led modules, each of which focuses on the intellectual needs of both pre-school children and older students. The underlying intent of Kinderstand is to partner parents in helping children make the smooth transition from an informal learning environment to a formal education system, to enable children to become “school-ready” and to create a social infrastructure to manage them in an enriching environment. Kinderstand’s first module, the Do-It-Yourself program, is based on the Montessori approach and activity-based Learning. The program, scheduled between 9 a.m. and 12 noon, focuses on personality development. This learning-by-doing module, which is completely child-led, enables the child to explore his/her own creativity and to learn at a pace that the child sets and is comfortable with. The module increases the understanding and awareness of children and enhances their preparedness to address future challenges and handle various social situations. The 3Rs (Reading-wRiting-aRithmetic) Kindergarten program, aimed at skill building, will be held between 1.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. This teacher-led module will offer a regular kindergarten program and will be supported by interactive touch-screen technology that will make the learning process a lot more interesting for the child, while ensuring that transfer of learning happens effectively and efficiently. This program includes modules on reading, writing, imaginative play, drama and storytelling. The After-School Program, intended at social skill development, is scheduled between 4.00 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. and will focus on building the child’s confidence to face different social situations. The program will include snack-and-play time, supervised homework time and a dedicated period for hobbies as well as recreational activities like music, dance and drama and aims to provide an intelligent and interactive entertainment. The module, targeted at children in the age group of 2 – 8 years, is focused on multiple intelligence theory and encourages children to explore other facets of their personality.
