Mumbai-based MyPacco launches its online courier platform

With an aim to revolutionise the courier industry in India, Mumbai-based MYPACCO has launched its online platform that serves as an aggregator and price comparison platform for courier services.

Commenting on the same, Vinay Bhartia, Co-Founder and CEO, MYPACCO said, "We identified 3 pain points, which we have converted into 3 pillars - Discovery, Transparency and Ease - by virtue of which, we are giving the power of choice and convenience to the customer."

Bhartia is a serial entrepreneur, who started his journey in 2000. He later co-founded an indoor Health and Hygiene Company, which he eventually exited to give shape to MYPACCO. Apart from being a member of the Indian Angel network, Bhartia also seves as the Country Leader of the Purdue Alumni India Network.

MYPACCO customers will get access to different courier companies under one roof and send mail or parcels from anywhere in India to anywhere in the world. They can first compare the services of different courier companies on the portal and then book an order based on their specific requirements and budget. Thereafter, the concerned service provider collects the parcel from the customer's doorstep and delivers it to the specified address.

In addition to the convenience of sending a parcel without having to step out of home or office, MyPacco.com maintains transparency for customers in terms of different service offerings, prices, documentation and packaging guidelines, which helps save valuable time and effort and makes the otherwise cumbersome process a smooth sailing for them. Customers can also track the status of their parcel anytime by logging in to the portal.

Payments for the order can be made online through the portal's secure payment gateway.

According to Mukesh Agarwal, Co-Founder, MYPACCO, "As in other industries - like hotel, travel, entertainment - an online aggregationplatform has helped both service providers and users. It has not only accelerated the growth, but also speeded up the evolution of the industry, by creating value for all the stakeholders in the ecosystem. Similarly, MYPACCOhas been built to serve the same in the logistics space.

The company will soon be launching a mobile app to ensure even easier access to its services.

Also a serial entrepreneur, Agarwal gave in to his entrepreneurial streak early in life. An IIM-Kolkatta alumnus, he successfully founded three retail ventures in the jewelry, designer apparel and men's wear segments.
