Education catalyst EduCat joins hands with Academy of Foreign Medical Graduates

India’s first professional education consultancy in study abroad services for medical education EduCat is joining hands with Academy of Foreign Medical Graduates founded by Dr. Vikas in 2002 (an alumni of AIIMS). It is a pioneer institution in the line of MCI Screening Test training and preparation in India. The Academy is not only known to be the best of its kinds, but also have given consistent successful performance since its establishment.

Medical Council of India Screening Test, also known as Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE), is one of the mandatory requirements for an Indian citizen who has a medical degree from a college outside India to practice medicine in the country.

With the youth of today becoming increasingly aware and exposed to a number of things through manifold mediums, they are caught in the midst of various choices and avenues coupled with an influx of growing global education opportunities. However, when there is a plethora of choices but limited resources for realizing your dreams, the need for proper guidance and counselling to analyze and study these choices becomes extremely important. This is where EduCat, founded by Koelee Educational Facilitation Centre, steps in. It is a one-stop destination for aspiring medical students aiming to pursue their education overseas.

The screening test was introduced in 2002 as a qualifying examination for Indian students obtaining their medical degrees from countries other than India, such as countries belonging to the former Soviet Union, Eastern European countries, China, Nepal, Philippines, Caribbean countries, etc. The examination is held twice in a year in June and December.

Nilufer Jain, Co-Founder, EduCat, believes that “Tie-up with AFMG for providing MCI Screening Test Coaching will ensure students pursuing medical education overseas a smooth sailing criteria so when they come back to India, they are prepared thoroughly for MCI Screening test.”

“We at EduCat believe that timely preparation in a planned, organized and guided manner which can help a student to achieve success. Hence, we have joined hands with the most reputed institute to provide this opportunity to maximum number of resident students studying abroad,” Jain added further.

AFMG is the first MCI Screening Test Coaching Centre, which will provide classes in abroad. Currently they are holding classes at many centers present in Ukraine, Russia and China. AFMG strongly focuses on raising the foreign medical graduates’ potential by providing highly targeted and specialised coaching programs.
