The All India Management Association (AIMA) is organising the “Global Convention on MSMEs (micro small & medium enterprises).” The two day long convention will start from March 10, and will continue till March 11, 2010 at New Delhi. The theme of the convention is “Towards Excellence in MSMEs: Innovative Practices for Global Competitiveness.”
The convention will focus on the MSMEs and the important role played by them in sustaining economic growth, increasing trade, generating employment and creating seedbed for enterprise development.
The convention will also talk about some of the limitations that the sector faces. The solutions to these problems will also be discussed at the convention, which will be attended by speakers from the government as well as private sector like Mr Ashok Chawla, Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs and Dr R. A. Mashelkar, Chairperson, National Innovation Foundation, India.
