Zo World-owned Zostel has stepped into premium hospitality with the launch of Zo Selections, debuting its first property in Jaipur. The offering includes private rooms, jacuzzi suites, shared lounge areas and dedicated workstations.
Founded in 2013, Zostel started out as a 24-bed hostel in Jodhpur and has since scaled to nearly 5,000 beds across India, Nepal and Thailand, with the company reporting over 5 million guest journeys to date.
Zo Selections is designed for travellers who have outgrown dorm-style hostels but still want a socially driven stay experience. The Jaipur property offers bonfires, workshops, sundowners and an in-house restaurant, Amaano, serving Rajasthani cuisine.
This new vertical adds to Zostel's existing hospitality lineup, which spans Zostel Plus, Zostel Homes and Zo House. The brand plans to roll out its next Zo Selections property in Gokarna, with further openings lined up in Mussoorie, Pench and Lonavla.
The move comes at a time of broader expansion for Zo World — Zostel recently crossed 100 properties and entered international markets with its first overseas location in Phuket, while the group has also grown its European footprint via Safestay. With its entry into premium hospitality, Zo World is now targeting a network of 10,000 beds.
