Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has kicked off the public display of its electric SUV models VF 7 and VF 6 in India. These display events are being organized at major shopping malls across 11 key cities. This marks the company’s first wide-scale public showcase in India following the debut of these models at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year.
The displays began on June 21 and are being held in high-footfall malls in cities such as Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Kochi. Through these events, visitors can experience VinFast’s SUV designs up close, explore the interiors, and learn about the advanced technology and features integrated into the vehicles.
As part of its India expansion strategy, VinFast is setting up a manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, developing a dealer network, and partnering with Indian companies like Global Assure to enhance customer service. This growth model is aligned with VinFast’s successful electric mobility ecosystem in Vietnam.
The VF 7 and VF 6 SUVs feature unique design themes with highlights such as V-shaped LED light strips, panoramic sunroofs, touchscreen-based cockpits, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). VinFast aims to attract India’s young and environmentally conscious consumers through these models. Key display venues include Express Avenue Mall in Chennai, Sarath Capital Mall in Hyderabad, Select City Walk and Pacific Mall in Delhi, and Lulu Malls in Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, and Lucknow.
