Tanishq and Mia by Tanishq, flagship jewellery brands under the Tata Group's Titan Company Ltd, have been honoured with the Diamonds Do Good Purpose-Driven Business Leadership Award at the 2025 Diamonds Do Good Awards in Las Vegas. The prestigious global accolade celebrates the brands’ pioneering work in ethical sourcing, community upliftment, and sustainability within the natural diamond industry.
Accepting the award on behalf of both brands, Ajoy Chawla, CEO of the Jewellery Division at Titan, reflected on the Tata legacy: “The community is not just another stakeholder in business but is, in fact, the very purpose of its existence,” quoting the visionary founder Shri Jamsetji Tata.
The Diamonds Do Good Foundation, which hosts the annual awards, recognizes leaders and organisations that are redefining responsible luxury. Tanishq and Mia were lauded for implementing the Titan Supplier Engagement Protocol (TSEP), a comprehensive framework focused on ethical sourcing through the principles of Place, People, Process, and Planet. Their diamonds are fully traceable and certified under the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, ensuring conflict-free origins.
In addition to sustainable sourcing, the brands have championed initiatives like gold exchange programs and the development of artisan parks that provide safe, dignified workspaces for India’s skilled karigars. These efforts are part of Titan’s broader ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) agenda, aimed at building a responsible future for luxury retail.
This award underscores Tanishq and Mia's leadership in placing values and community at the heart of business, reinforcing their role not just as leading jewellers but as global advocates for positive change in the diamond industry.
