The latest launches include NEWME’s second store in Jaipur, fourth store in Delhi and second store in Mumbai, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s offline growth journey.
The openings witnessed strong customer response, with shoppers queuing up at the new stores and welcoming the brand into their cities. The company said the customer traction reflects growing demand for its fashion-led retail proposition and has strengthened its confidence in accelerating store expansion.
With the three new outlets, NEWME has opened 17 stores so far this year. This compares with the 18 stores it opened during the first 30 months of its retail journey.
The rapid expansion comes after the brand spent its initial years building and refining its retail playbook. According to the company, this has helped it sharpen its approach to store formats and sizes, inventory and replenishment, operating processes and retail execution.
“The early stores were about learning. Every location, every customer interaction, every mistake helped us build the muscle. Now, it is about execution,” the company's official said.
NEWME is now targeting 50 stores in the coming weeks, signalling an aggressive push to expand its physical retail footprint and bring the brand closer to customers across key Indian markets.
The latest store launches underscore the brand’s strategy of using its offline network to complement its digital presence as it scales across India.
