Continuing its rapid national expansion, Miraj Cinemas, India’s third-largest multiplex chain, has launched a new four-screen multiplex at Anand Mall & Movies in Narsingi, Hyderabad. The opening marks the company’s sixth property in the city, raising its Hyderabad screen count to 22 and its nationwide tally to 248 screens across 71 locations in 49 cities and 16 states.
The launch was celebrated with a special screening of the much-anticipated Pawan Kalyan film They Call Me OG. The event drew several notable guests, including Dr. J. Rameswararao, Chairman of My Home Group; veteran producer and distributor Mr. Dil Raju; Dr. Anand Rao, Managing Director of Raghuram Group; and actor-director Mr. R. Narayanamoorthi.
“Hyderabad holds a special place in our journey,” said Bhuvanesh Mendiratta, Managing Director of Miraj Entertainment Ltd. “With this new property, we aimed to build more than just another cinema — we’ve created a complete destination. From state-of-the-art technology to thoughtfully designed interiors and gourmet F&B options, every element has been curated to elevate the movie-going experience.”
The new multiplex boasts a total seating capacity of 801 across its four auditoriums. Each auditorium features next-generation digital projection, immersive surround sound, sofa-style seating, and mood lighting, offering viewers a premium and comfortable cinematic experience.
The interiors of the new venue blend modern luxury with cinematic flair, incorporating marble flooring, geometric design elements, warm golden lighting, and plush designer furniture to create a visually appealing, high-end atmosphere.
Miraj Cinemas continues to strengthen its position as one of India’s fastest-growing entertainment chains. Known for its strategic expansion in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities, the brand has consistently focused on providing both mainstream and luxury viewing experiences to audiences across the country.
The company also plans to introduce two new IMAX screens in the near future, reinforcing its commitment to delivering cutting-edge cinematic technologies to Indian audiences.
With Hyderabad’s movie culture thriving and demand for premium theatre experiences on the rise, Miraj’s latest venture is well-positioned to attract cinema-goers seeking comfort, quality, and the latest blockbusters — all under one roof.
