
U.S.-based dining and entertainment chain Dave & Buster’s has entered the Mumbai market with the launch of a 22,000 sq. ft. outlet at Infinity Mall, Andheri West, in partnership with franchisee Malpani Group. This is the brand’s second location in India, following its debut in Bengaluru in December 2024.
The Mumbai launch is part of a broader growth strategy, with plans to establish over 15 new outlets across India within the next five years. Each outlet is expected to involve an investment of approximately $2 million to $4 million, depending on size and location.
“Mumbai is a strategic market given its vibrant social fabric and dense urban catchment,” said Shreya Malpani, Director of Malpani Group. “Andheri West, with its connectivity and diverse demographic, offers the right setting for us to introduce the Dave & Buster’s experience to the city.”
The new location builds on the brand’s international concept of “Eat. Drink. Play. Watch.”, offering an integrated experience that combines premium dining, interactive gaming, and live entertainment.
The company is also placing a strong emphasis on experiential marketing, drawing on insights from its Bengaluru operations. Initiatives such as seasonal menus, midweek offers, coffee tastings, and live DJ events are expected to be replicated and tailored for the Mumbai audience.
