In a bold move that underscores its retail ambitions, fashion brand Libas is set to open 11 new stores across India on August 15, marking one of the largest single-day retail expansions in the country’s fashion sector.
The Independence Day launch reflects Libas' commitment to its ethos, “Made in India. Made for India,” and is a key milestone in the company’s goal of establishing over 100 stores by the end of 2025. The simultaneous openings signal the brand’s intensified focus on India’s offline market, especially in high-potential urban and semi-urban centers.
The new stores will open in a diverse set of cities and high-footfall retail zones, including Jasola, Rohini, and Gaur City in Delhi-NCR; Phoenix Palassio in Lucknow; MG Road in Kochi; as well as Indore, Amritsar, Udaipur, Mumbai, and two key locations in Bengaluru—Bel Road and Sarjapur.
“This expansion marks a decisive step in our growth trajectory as we strengthen our presence across the country,” said Sidhant Keshwani, Founder & CEO of Libas. “The ‘11 Steps Closer’ campaign is a tribute to India’s fashion-forward women. We’re committed to co-creating fashion spaces that reflect local culture while delivering a consistent Libas experience.”
The campaign not only highlights the brand’s ongoing transformation into a major omnichannel player but also reinforces its effort to engage with consumers in a more personal, regional context. Each store is designed to echo local aesthetics while maintaining the brand’s signature design-led fashion approach.
The strategic rollout supports Libas’ broader 2025 roadmap, which focuses on building a digitally enabled, culturally rooted ecosystem for contemporary Indian fashion. With a growing footprint in Tier I and Tier II cities, Libas continues to blend style, speed, and strategy in shaping its next chapter.
