Indian electric vehicle manufacturer Kinetic Green has revealed its roadmap to launch three new electric scooters within the next 18 months. The announcement was made on July 11, 2025, with the company citing the strong performance of its E-Luna model as the inspiration behind this expansion.
The first model will be a family-oriented electric scooter, set to hit the market ahead of the 2025 festive season. The vehicle will feature a TFT display, IoT functionalities, and a digital platform developed in collaboration with Jio Things. The scooter will be offered in multiple battery variants and will support fast- charging technology to cater to different consumer needs and price segments.
For its upcoming models, Kinetic Green has teamed up with Italy-based automotive design firm Torino Design. The company plans to launch ultra-futuristic scooters built on a "Born Electric design philosophy," with a market rollout expected next year.
Dr. Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO of Kinetic Green, stated that the company has sold over 80,000 electric two-wheelers to date and established a network of 400 dealers across India. Emphasizing “Thoughtful Engineering,” the brand focuses on design, safety, and digital connectivity.
Kinetic Green began its EV journey with electric three-wheelers in 2016 and entered the two-wheeler market in 2022. Its E-Luna, launched in 2024, has gained popularity in both urban and rural markets for personal and commercial use. The company projects that electric scooter penetration will rise from 15% to 70% in the next five years, with the market expected to reach ₹40,000 crore by 2030.
With a manufacturing facility near Pune, the company recently raised $25 million in Series A funding from UK-based Greater Pacific Capital and is now seeking an additional $30 million to support its expansion. Kinetic Green also operates a global joint venture with Tonino Lamborghini to manufacture electric golf carts and lifestyle carts, highlighting its diversified EV ambitions.
