Global interior solutions provider Häfele has launched its third Licht Experience Centre in Ahmedabad, following earlier openings in Chandigarh and Indore. Located at 302, 31 Five, Opp. Palladium, Corporate Road, Makarba, the new centre is designed to showcase advanced lighting innovations for architects, interior designers, lighting consultants, contractors, and homeowners.
The word “Licht”—German for “light”—captures the essence of this concept space, where technology meets design to demonstrate how lighting can transform interiors both aesthetically and functionally.
The Ahmedabad centre was inaugurated by Frank Schloeder, Managing Director of Häfele South Asia, and Pranav Patel, Principal Lighting Designer at Zion Design. Other key leaders from Häfele, including Manish Mahajan, Avanish Pandey, and Abhijith R, also attended the launch.
“Häfele is committed to bringing global innovations closer to the Indian market,” said Schloeder. “Ahmedabad is a growing design hub, and this new Licht Centre will empower professionals and homeowners to explore smart, effective lighting solutions.”
The centre showcases two major categories of lighting which include Architectural Lighting: downlights, spotlights, and wall washers designed for glare-free, ergonomic illumination. These solutions emphasize plug-and-play assembly and customizability and Furniture Lighting (Loox Range): Designed for integration into cabinets, wardrobes, and workspaces, this range balances function and ambiance. Notably, Häfele offers an industry-first 10-year warranty on its furniture lighting products in India.
Häfele entered the architectural lighting segment in 2019, responding to a gap in the market for high-quality, performance-driven lighting. Its offerings aim to simplify installation and enhance design flexibility—hallmarks of the brand’s German engineering standards.
Speaking at the event, lighting designer Pranav Patel said, “Lighting is not just about brightness—it's about creating mood and experience. Häfele’s new centre will help professionals understand the emotional impact of well-planned lighting.”
The Ahmedabad centre also offers value-added services such as Meister installation support, custom lighting design services, and ongoing training through the Häfele Academy.
With this launch, Häfele further strengthens its presence in India and reinforces its commitment to delivering innovative, reliable, and beautifully engineered lighting solutions tailored to Indian interiors.
