GreenCell Mobility has received the Letter of Award (LOA) under the PM E-Bus Sewa Scheme to supply and deploy 472 Eicher electric buses in Madhya Pradesh and 750 state-of-the-art electric buses in Andhra Pradesh. This initiative is a significant push towards eco-friendly and sustainable public transport solutions in the country.
To execute these projects, GreenCell Mobility has partnered with VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) for the Madhya Pradesh deployment and Pinnacle Mobility Solutions (EKA Mobility) for the Andhra Pradesh operations. The electric buses will serve 6 cities in Madhya Pradesh and 11 cities in Andhra Pradesh.
Backed by Eversource Capital, GreenCell Mobility already operates over 900 electric buses across Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. These new contracts will extend its operations into central and southern India, strengthening its footprint in clean mass mobility.

The PM E-Bus Sewa Scheme is part of the Indian Government’s initiative to deploy 10,000 electric buses nationwide. For FY 2024–25, CESL had floated tenders for 4,588 e-buses under this scheme.
