Bakingo Secures ₹100 Crore Series B Funding at 2.6X Valuation
The company plans to use the funds for general business requirements while supporting its expansion and growth initiatives as it continues to strengthen its presence in India’s online bakery and food delivery market.

Online bakery platform Bakingo has secured ₹100 crore in a Series B funding round led by existing investor Faering Capital, marking a fresh phase of growth for the Gurugram based company. The fundraise comes nearly three years after its previous $16 million funding round in November 2023.

According to regulatory filings, FA Gifts Pvt. Ltd., the parent company of Bakingo, allotted 7,436 Series B preference shares at an issue price of ₹1,34,477 per share, generating fresh capital of ₹100 crore.

The company plans to use the funds for general business requirements while supporting its expansion and growth initiatives as it continues to strengthen its presence in India’s online bakery and food delivery market.

The latest investment has also significantly increased Bakingo’s valuation. The company’s valuation has risen 2.6 times to ₹1,643 crore, or around $173 million, from ₹627 crore during its previous Series A round. The increase reflects continued investor confidence in the brand’s business model and long term growth prospects.

Founded in 2016 by Himanshu Chawla, Shrey Sehgal and Suman Patra, Bakingo has built a sizeable presence in India’s online bakery segment. Its product portfolio includes more than 400 cake designs, along with gourmet cakes, cheesecakes, jar cakes and customised cakes for different occasions.

The brand operates through a network of more than 100 cloud kitchens across over 30 cities, supporting its technology enabled delivery model and allowing it to cater to customers across multiple markets.

Following the latest share allotment, Faering Capital holds a 26.31 percent stake in the Gurugram based company, strengthening its involvement in Bakingo’s next stage of expansion.

While Bakingo has not yet filed its FY26 financial results, the company recorded operating revenue of ₹300 crore in FY25 and reported a net loss of ₹16.5 crore, according to its standalone financial statements.

The latest capital infusion is expected to support Bakingo’s operational capabilities, geographic expansion and market reach as demand for online bakery products continues to rise. With consumers increasingly seeking convenient ordering, premium desserts and customised products for celebrations, the funding provides the company with additional resources to scale its presence across existing and new markets.
