Amway India is set to expand and renovate its stores across key markets over the next three to four years, with a focus on consumer engagement and providing distributors with more opportunities to grow their businesses, as shared by the company in media reports.
The company’s expansion plans follow the inauguration of a new store in Gurugram by Amway Global President and CEO Michael Nelson during his visit to the city. The move builds on the Rs 100 crore investment announced by Nelson last year for initiatives that include strengthening Amway’s physical presence in India.
Amway’s stores will serve as experience centres where consumers can explore its products and health and wellbeing solutions. The outlets will also provide distributors with spaces to interact with customers and build communities.
Nelson said India remained central to Amway’s global growth strategy, pointing to rising demand for trusted, science-backed health and wellbeing solutions and personalised consumer experiences.
Amway India’s retail strategy centres on creating spaces for product awareness, direct interaction and consumer education. Rajneesh Chopra, Managing Director of Amway India, said the stores were designed as engagement hubs rather than conventional retail outlets.
The company operates more than 85 stores across India and has opened or renovated over 14 outlets in recent months. These include locations in Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Agra and Imphal, along with smaller cities.
The next phase of expansion will focus on strengthening the company’s presence across metropolitan, tier-two and tier-three markets.
