Company Introduction: Mr. Orange started operations in November 2004 at the Metropolitan Mall, Gurgaon. So overwhelming was the response from the first outlet that within a year it has managed to spread at all eminent retail locations in Delhi NCR, National Highway-1, Chandigarh, Bangalore and soon starting operations in other top cities of India. In October 2005 it won the ‘Concept of the Year Award’ in the Franchise Awards 2005 organized by Franchise India Holdings Limited in New Delhi.
Concept: Mr. Orange concept comprises of three things:
An Automatic Juicing System: It is an internationally patented process for automatic feeding, slicing, extracting and chilling of juice from an Orange family all in one cycle. The process ensures that the oranges need not be peeled and remain untouched by human hands. Above all, the extraction process is absolutely transparent and completely visible through a glass chamber. The juice extracted is so pure that it has a shelf life of nearly 72 hours if stored in a normal refrigerator.
The kiosk: The automatic juicing system is placed inside this unique orange shape kiosk which is patented in the name of the company by the Patent Office of the Government of India. This 7 x 7 feet kiosk is wheel mounted, hence can be moved freely anywhere.
A mascot with orange face is the best-suited icon, as it attracts people of all ages.
