The milestone was also highlighted through Trent's official social-media page reflecting the brand’s growing retail footprint and its continued focus on affordable fashion.
Launched in 2016, Zudio has expanded rapidly with a proposition centred on affordable, trend-focused fashion for men, women and children. Trent describes Zudio as its value-fashion concept, with products curated in-house and offered at sharp price points.
The brand’s expansion has taken it across hundreds of Indian cities, strengthening its position in the country’s organised value-fashion retail market. The 1,000-store milestone underlines the scale at which the Tata Group has been able to build Zudio as a mass-market fashion brand.
Zudio’s growth is part of Trent Ltd’s broader retail strategy, which also includes Westside, its large-format fashion and lifestyle chain, and Star, its grocery business.
The 1,000th Zudio store was reported to have opened at Sushma Capital in Zirakpur, Punjab, with the outlet spanning more than 14,000 square feet across three floors.
With its combination of affordable pricing, frequent fashion refreshes and an expanding store network, Zudio has emerged as one of the most prominent growth stories in India’s value-fashion retail segment.
