Vedas Exports, a well-known name in India’s design-led décor export space, has made its first foray into domestic retail with the launch of its inaugural physical store — Vedas Homes — in Jamshedpur.
Renowned for its handcrafted products that fuse global ancient traditions with Indian heritage and a modern sensibility, the brand’s entry into the Indian B2C market marks a significant milestone. Previously known for its presence on leading online platforms like Urban Ladder, Pepperfry, and Myntra, Vedas is now set to bring its eclectic range directly to Indian consumers.
The new Vedas Homes store features over 3,000 SKUs, offering a wide selection of home décor products — from table accents and wall hangings to large statement pieces. The collection spans materials such as terracotta, brass, porcelain, polyresin, and wrought iron, with prices starting as low as ₹500, making high-quality artisanal décor accessible to a wide audience.
Designed as a full-fledged home styling destination, the store emphasizes sustainability while offering a carefully curated blend of tradition and modernity. “We see a strong appetite in India for decor that connects with heritage yet fits seamlessly into contemporary homes,” a spokesperson for Vedas Exports said.
This retail launch also signals the brand’s strategic transition from a purely B2B model to a direct-to-consumer (D2C) approach. With its sights set on India’s tier-2 cities, Vedas plans to open its second outlet in Ranchi shortly, followed by 10 more stores by the end of 2026.
To accelerate its expansion, the company is actively scouting for franchise partners who share its vision for premium, handcrafted décor rooted in culture and craftsmanship.
With the rising demand for artisanal and sustainable home products, Vedas Homes aims to capture a growing segment of Indian consumers looking for décor that tells a story — blending craftsmanship, culture, and contemporary design.
