TVS Motor Company has launched its latest electric scooter, the TVS Orbiter, in India with an introductory price of ₹99,900 (ex-showroom, inclusive of PM e-Drive scheme). The scooter is designed to cater specifically to urban commuters with a blend of performance, comfort, and cutting-edge technology.
Key Highlights of TVS Orbiter:
- 158 km IDC range with a 3.1 kWh battery pack
- Segment-first features such as hill hold assist, cruise control, and advanced connected technology
- 34-litre boot space with capacity for two helmets
- Industry-first 14-inch front wheel
- 290 mm footboard and 169 mm ground clearance
The scooter’s connected features include a mobile app for real-time battery monitoring, turn-by-turn navigation, and call display. On the safety front, it comes with geo-fencing, time-fencing, anti-theft alerts, live location tracking, and crash/fall alert systems.
The TVS Orbiter also features LED headlamps with integrated indicators, USB 2.0 charging port, edge-to-edge combination lights, dual riding modes (Eco and Power), and regenerative braking.
Manufactured in India, the Orbiter will be available in six vibrant color options — Neon Sunburst, Stratos Blue, Lunar Grey, Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium, and Martian Copper.
