Trent Ltd reported a 19 per cent year-on-year increase in standalone revenue for the first quarter ended June 2026, with sales reaching Rs 5,666 crore, supported by continued expansion of its retail network and steady demand across its fashion formats.
The Tata Group retail company had posted standalone revenue of Rs 4,781 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, according to its quarterly business update filed on Monday.
The retailer said revenue from the sale of merchandise, excluding other operating income, also grew 19 per cent during the quarter.
During the April–June period, Trent expanded its footprint by opening one new Westside store and 19 Zudio outlets, further strengthening its presence in the value fashion segment. The company also operates the grocery retail chain Star.
As of June 30, 2026, Trent's retail portfolio comprised 1,312 stores, including 301 Westside outlets, 982 Zudio stores, of which seven are located in the UAE, and 29 stores under other lifestyle concepts.
On Monday, shares of Trent Ltd ended marginally higher at Rs 3,343.40 on the BSE, up 0.08 per cent.
