Swiggy Instamart is expanding its quick commerce offerings beyond everyday essentials through a new partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), enabling consumers to order LPG cylinders on demand.
As part of the collaboration, Instamart will also become the first quick commerce platform to offer HPCL's newly launched HP Navya, the company's 10 kg composite LPG cylinder.
The service will initially be rolled out in Bengaluru, where customers will be able to order the HP Navya cylinder. The 5 kg metal LPG cylinder will also be available on the platform, catering to a range of household and individual requirements.
According to Instamart, the service does not require customers to have an existing domestic LPG connection, making it a convenient and flexible option for students, working professionals, smaller households and other consumers seeking on-demand cooking fuel.

With HPCL, we're extending that convenience to an essential household service, bringing LPG onto Instamart while maintaining the safety and reliability standards consumers expect."

The ordering process has been designed to be simple and seamless. Consumers can access Instamart, choose between the 10 kg HP Navya composite LPG cylinder or the 5 kg metal LPG cylinder, add their preferred option to the cart and place an order. Initial purchases are treated as new cylinder bookings.
For subsequent orders, customers can request refills by returning the empty HPCL cylinder to the delivery personnel at the time of delivery.
All orders will be fulfilled through HPCL's authorised distributor network and delivered by trained personnel in accordance with established safety and regulatory protocols. To ensure a secure and compliant process, first-time purchases require identity verification, while proof-of-delivery documentation is integrated into every transaction.
