PepsiCo India has expanded its premium snacking lineup with the introduction of Red Rock Deli, a global gourmet chips brand making its debut in the Indian market.
Originally founded in Australia and known internationally for its chef-inspired flavour profiles, Red Rock Deli is launching in India with a range of exotic, globally influenced chips now produced locally to suit Indian taste preferences.
According to the company, the new range is made with sunflower oil and uses three advanced preparation technologies — Kettle Cooked, Baked and Popped — to create what it describes as an “elevated snacking experience.”
PepsiCo India said the timing of the launch aligns with a broader shift in India’s snacking culture, where consumers — especially in urban centres — are gravitating toward premium, experimental offerings.
“Today’s urban consumers are seeking premium, chef-inspired snacks that feel both elevated and accessible,” said Saakshi Verma Menon, Chief Marketing Officer, Foods, PepsiCo India. “Introducing Red Rock Deli caters to this shift toward richer textures, bolder ingredients and more intentional snacking moments.”
Red Rock Deli products are now available on major quick-commerce platforms, a move the company says underscores its focus on serving a new generation of consumers. The brand aims to blend global culinary inspiration with local relevance, reflecting PepsiCo India’s emphasis on flavour innovation.
As Indian consumers increasingly prioritise quality and experimentation, PepsiCo sees Red Rock Deli as a strategic addition to its portfolio — one rooted in the company’s legacy of innovation and commitment to evolving consumer preferences.
