Palmonas, the demi-fine jewellery brand that rose to prominence after its appearance on Shark Tank India, has raised ₹55 crore in a Series A funding round led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India (SEAI). The Pune-based startup, founded in 2022 by Shraddha Kapoor, Amol Patwari, and Pallavi Mohadikar, aims to reshape everyday jewellery for the modern Indian consumer.
Positioned as a bridge between fast fashion and fine jewellery, Palmonas offers waterproof, skin-safe, and design-forward pieces tailored for daily wear. The fresh capital infusion will support the brand’s ambitious expansion plans — including the launch of 100 new stores in the next 12 months, scaling its signature 9kt gold demi-fine line, and strengthening its best-selling categories.
“Jewellery should feel like a second skin — beautiful, effortless, and part of everyday life,” said actor-turned-entrepreneur Shraddha Kapoor. “With this investment, we’re bringing that vision to more people across India and beyond.”
CEO and Co-founder Pallavi Mohadikar added, “From launching our first collection just 10 days after the idea was born to fulfilling over 6.5 lakh orders, speed and customer focus have been our DNA. This funding allows us to accelerate innovation, expand our design language, and offer a seamless omnichannel experience.”
Kanika Mayar, Partner at Vertex Ventures SEAI, said, “Palmonas is redefining what jewellery means for India’s new-age consumer. The founders have executed remarkably well, and we’re excited to back them as they scale both nationally and globally.”
The Series A round marks another milestone in the brand’s rapid rise. In February 2025, Palmonas was valued at ₹126 crore after securing ₹1.26 crore from investors Namita Thapar and Ritesh Agarwal during Shark Tank India Season 4. Earlier, the company had raised ₹6 crore in an angel round. Shraddha Kapoor officially joined the company as a co-founder in March 2024.
With a growing customer base and a distinct design ethos, Palmonas is now gearing up to take its India-first brand of demi-fine jewellery to global markets.
