JSW MG Motor India has launched its first luxury electric limousine, the MG M9, under the premium brand channel MG Select, at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹69.90 lakh. Bookings for the MG M9 are now open through the MG Select website and at 14 Experience Centres across 13 major cities, with deliveries set to begin from August 10, 2025.
Battery & Performance
The MG M9 is powered by a 90-kWh NMC battery that offers an impressive 548 km range on a single charge. The electric powertrain delivers 245 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. The battery supports fast charging and can charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. Customers will receive an 11-kW wall box charger (with installation) and a 3.3-kW portable charger free of cost. The first owner is entitled to a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty, along with a 3-year unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty.
Interior & Features
The M9 is built for ultimate comfort and luxury. It includes 16-way adjustable seats with massage, heating, and ventilation functions, all controllable via a smart armrest. The cabin also features a dual sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting, a 13-speaker premium sound system, and Cognac brown leather and suede upholstery. Additional highlights include a 55-litre frunk and a maximum luggage capacity of 1720 litres.
Exterior & Design
The M9 sports a bold and elegant design with a trapezoidal mesh grille, connected LED DRLs, split LED headlamps, and a waterfall-style rear LED light setup. It is available in Pearl Lustre White, Metal Black, and Concrete Grey. The vehicle rides on 19-inch ContiSeal self-sealing tyres and comes with heated ORVMs.
Safety & Technology
The MG M9 meets global safety standards, having received 5-star safety ratings from both EURO NCAP and ANCAP. Built with high-strength steel, the vehicle is equipped with seven airbags, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and a driver monitoring function.
