JSW MG Motor India has introduced a new version of its popular electric MPV, the MG Windsor PRO. The vehicle was launched at the PPS Motors MG showroom in LB Nagar, Hyderabad. The upgraded model comes with a more powerful battery, enhanced safety features, and cutting-edge technology. The introductory ex-showroom price is ₹17,49,800, valid for the first 8,000 bookings. Under the BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service) model, it is also available at ₹12.49 lakh + ₹4.5/km.
The MG Windsor PRO features a 52.9 kWh battery offering a certified range of 449 km (MIDC). It includes 12 ADAS Level 2 safety features that enhance the overall driving experience. On the tech front, it supports Vehicle-to-Load and Vehicle-to-Vehicle charging, enabling it to power appliances and other EVs. The MPV also boasts a dual-tone ivory and black interior, adding a luxurious touch to the cabin.
To further expand the reach of its BaaS ownership model, JSW MG Motor has partnered with new financiers, including IDFC First Bank and Kotak Mahindra Prime. This scheme allows buyers to own the vehicle while leasing the battery, making EV ownership more affordable. The company is offering a lifetime battery warranty to the first owner and a 3-60 Buyback Plan that guarantees 60% value after three years.
Commenting on the launch, Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director of JSW MG Motor India, said the success of the MG Windsor naturally led to the launch of the Windsor PRO. “This new model will boost EV adoption not just in metro cities but also in Tier II and Tier III markets,” he added. PPS Motors MD Rajiv Sanghvi shared that the MG Windsor PRO has already received over 225 bookings in Telangana, reflecting its strong demand.
