Premium occasion wear brand Kalki Fashion has raised ₹225 crore from private equity firm Lighthouse Funds to fuel its domestic and international retail expansion and support new product development. Announcing the fundraise on Tuesday, Saurabh Gupta, Founder and CEO of Kalki Fashion, said the capital will enable the brand to strengthen its retail footprint and continue its innovation in product offerings.
While the stake acquired by Lighthouse was not disclosed, the official statement highlighted Kalki’s consistent profitability and strong unit economics as key drivers of investor confidence. Anshul Jain, Managing Director at Lighthouse, praised Kalki for establishing a strong brand in the premium occasion wear space, built on quality and craftsmanship. “As India continues to celebrate weddings and festivals with grandeur, Kalki is well-positioned to become the preferred brand for consumers seeking elegance and exclusivity,” he said.
Founded in 2007, Kalki Fashion specialises in high-end bridal, festive, and occasion wear for men and women. The brand sells through physical stores across India and an e-commerce platform, with a growing international customer base in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.
