Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has strengthened its presence in Tamil Nadu with the signing of Tree of Life Kanadukathan in Chettinad. The brownfield project will transform an existing heritage-style Chettiar property into a hospitality offering.

Designed to showcase the rich architectural heritage of Chettinad, the 20-key Tree of Life Kanadukathan is situated in the historic town of Kanadukathan. The hotel features an all-day dining restaurant, a lounge, and a range of wellness amenities, including a swimming pool, spa, and fully equipped gym.

The signing further strengthens IHCL's presence in Tamil Nadu, taking its portfolio in the state to 33 hotels, including 14 properties currently under development.
