
Fenty Beauty, the globally renowned cosmetics brand founded by entrepreneur and music artist Rihanna, is set to launch in India on August 7, 2025, through an exclusive partnership with Reliance Retail.
The brand will debut both Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin across 50+ retail locations in 16 cities, as well as through online platforms. Products will be available exclusively at Sephora India and Tira Beauty, both operated by Reliance Retail.
Announcing the launch on social media, Rihanna wrote, “INDIA, are you ready?”, confirming long-standing speculation about the brand’s official entry into the Indian market.
Fenty Beauty is internationally acclaimed for its commitment to inclusivity, particularly its expansive foundation shade range and formulations suitable for diverse skin tones. The brand has set new benchmarks in the beauty industry by prioritizing representation and accessibility.
Until recently, Fenty products were available in India only through Nykaa’s Cross Border Store, but were removed earlier this year, fueling anticipation of a direct retail launch. The new partnership with Reliance Retail—India’s largest retailer—strengthens Fenty’s presence in one of the fastest-growing beauty and personal care markets globally.
The Indian beauty market has seen rapid growth, driven by evolving consumer preferences and increasing demand for international, high-performance brands. Fenty’s entry is expected to further accelerate competition in the premium cosmetics segment.
