Crocs has strengthened its India leadership team with the appointment of Kumar Harshit as Commercial Director – Retail & Wholesale, a move that aligns with the footwear brand's ongoing retail expansion strategy in the country.

In his new role, Harshit will oversee Crocs' retail and wholesale operations across India, with end-to-end profit and loss responsibility for its offline business. He will lead the company's network of company-owned stores, partner-operated outlets and wholesale distribution channels, focusing on accelerating commercial growth and deepening the brand's market presence.

Commenting on his appointment, Harshit said India presents significant growth opportunities for Crocs. He added that his immediate priorities will be to elevate the consumer experience while building the commercial capabilities needed to support the brand's next phase of expansion.

Harshit brings nearly two decades of experience in the fashion and footwear industry. Before joining Crocs, he spent close to 17 years at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., where he held several leadership roles spanning retail, merchandising and sales.

Before joining Crocs, Harshit served as Vice President and Product Merchandise Director for Peter England between July 2025 and March 2026. Earlier, he was Retail Director at Reebok India, where he led the brand's retail operations across the country.

Over his nearly 17-year tenure at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., Harshit held several leadership roles. He oversaw Van Heusen's retail business across the company's emerging markets portfolio, served as National Sales Head – Key Accounts for Louis Philippe, and spent nearly nine years managing the brand's sportswear and denim categories.

Harshit's appointment comes at a time when Crocs is accelerating its growth strategy in India. The company is expanding its retail footprint, strengthening its offline network and enhancing its market presence to capitalize on the country's growing demand for casual footwear.
