Fresh funding will support Biryani Bees as it prepares to expand its outlet network and strengthen the operational infrastructure needed for its next phase of growth. The biryani and Indian meals brand, incubated by Wolfpack Labs, has raised $1 million from the Vivek Oberoi Family Office.
The company plans to use the capital to scale its network to 10 outlets and validate its business model across multiple states. Following this phase, Biryani Bees expects to raise a larger institutional funding round to support its national expansion plans.
A part of the investment will also be directed towards strengthening its central kitchen infrastructure, expanding its operations team and building a scalable and repeatable expansion model.
Founded by Nitin Tiwari, Biryani Bees operates through a central kitchen led model designed to maintain consistency in food quality and pricing as the business grows. The company currently has an annual revenue run rate of around Rs 25 crore and claims to be profitable.
At present, Biryani Bees operates three outlets in Uttar Pradesh. It plans to expand this network to 10 outlets across Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and other Tier 2 markets.
The brand has also established a presence on food delivery platforms, including Zomato and Swiggy, and claims to hold a strong share of the biryani category in the cities where it currently operates.
With the latest investment, Biryani Bees is now focused on strengthening its operating model across new markets before pursuing a larger institutional round to support its wider expansion across India.
