
Darling of high-end salons, leading hair care products brand L'Oréal Professionnel is on expansion mode. The brand’s product division has targeted to enhance its network in major tier II and III cities.
He also informed that the brand is available in 350 cities and sold through 35,000 salons. The brand is already present in Tier II and III cities but has elaborate plans to cover more areas.
Significantly, as per an Economic Times (ET) report, the company's professional products range contributes 25 per cent to total turnover.
"Idea is to continue growing. While smaller cities will grow faster, bigger chunk of business still exists in big cities," said Kaushik.
Moreover, talking about the upcoming 2015 launches, Kaushik told Wellness India, "We continue to add sub brands in India. The industry is growing and so is our brand. We will continue launching new products in the coming years as well. It will be a full range of products."
Further in the interaction, Kaushik shared more about the Indian hairdressing Awards 2014-15, an initiative taken by the brand to facilitate talented hairdressers of India and to encourage aspiring talent to make an effort to enhance and improve their skills.
"This will drive the growth of organising hair dressing industry. The company has 50 facilities across India and last year it trained 1.5 lakh professionals," Kaushik told to ET.
The L'Oréal Professional Hairdressing Awards has hosted regional rounds in four major cities including Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi. The grand finale to take place in Goa.
