adidas appoints Subhinder Singh Prem, as Managing Director, adidas Group India

adidas appoints Subhinder Singh Prem, as Managing Director, adidas Group India. From May 1, 2011onwards he is responsible for company’s overall business in India. Subhinder joined Reebok India in 1995. Since then, he has been an integral part of the brand's success story in India. Before becoming MD in 2003, he also held various positions within Reebok India, including Executive Director of Sales & Marketing for Reebok India.

The company is currently implementing the Joint Operating Model and bringing together adidas India and Reebok India as one team will ensure that the adidas Group continues as the overwhelming leader in sports within India.

Also Andreas Gellner, currently Managing Director adidas India, will now take over responsibility as Managing Director South East Europe effective May 1, 2011. In his new role, Andreas will be responsible for our business in Greece, Cyprus and the Balkans. Andreas has been at the helm of adidas India for 6.5 years.
