Paradise Biryani is set to significantly expand its presence in Bengaluru with plans to open 20 new outlets this year, as the restaurant chain accelerates its nationwide growth strategy backed by Samara Capital.
The expansion follows robust business performance in the city, where the brand has recorded 30% year-on-year revenue growth across its existing outlets. Paradise currently operates 10 stores in Bengaluru spanning high street locations, shopping malls and cloud kitchens.
The company's latest mall outlets have outperformed internal expectations, generating strong customer footfall from the first day of operations and encouraging repeat visits. Encouraged by the performance, Paradise Biryani plans to continue expanding across high streets, malls and cloud kitchen formats as part of its broader retail growth strategy.
Commenting on the Bengaluru roadmap, Abhik Mitra, MD & CEO, Paradise Food Court Pvt. Ltd., said: “The city has emerged as one of our strongest growth markets, with consistent double-digit growth reflecting strong brand recall, repeat customer loyalty, and operational discipline across formats. Our mall openings in the city have proven that the format works in premium retail environments, giving us confidence to scale further. As part of our city-wide rollout, we will add stores across three formats: high street locations in high-density neighbourhoods, mall and retail destination outlets, and cloud kitchens to support delivery-led growth.”
The Bengaluru expansion forms part of Paradise Biryani's larger nationwide growth strategy, under which the Samara Capital-backed brand plans to invest around ₹100 crore to launch 100 new outlets across metro cities and emerging markets.
Nilay Pratik, Managing Director, Samara Capital, said: “Paradise’s successful store model, best-in-class tech systems, and new leadership at the helm support the brand’s national scale-up. We are happy to be part of this growth journey, as Paradise has a proven unit economics model, a trusted brand, and a clear roadmap for the city. Our focus extends beyond scale to consistency, operational discipline, and delivering an authentic experience across geographies. Paradise Biryani’s Bengaluru expansion reflects the brand’s broader ambition to grow as a future-ready national food brand while preserving its culinary legacy.”
To ensure consistency across its growing network, Paradise Biryani follows standardised recipes and centrally managed operating processes at every outlet. The company also conducts regular surprise audits and monitors customer feedback to maintain uniform quality standards, while kitchen teams undergo structured training and ongoing skill development programmes.
On the technology front, Paradise has deployed automated kitchen systems that digitally standardise portion sizes and cooking parameters, helping minimise operational inconsistencies. Real-time dashboards track key performance indicators such as food quality, order turnaround time and customer ratings across all locations, while a centralised recipe management system ensures every outlet, including new stores in Bengaluru, has instant access to the latest recipes and standard operating procedures.
