Most kiosks will be operated by women, with 80–90% of outlets projected to be women-led.

The Chatpata Affair (TCA), one of India’s fastest-growing vegetarian street food brands, has rolled out its new social-impact initiative, Nukkad by Chatpata Affair, aimed at enabling women and specially-abled entrepreneurs to run neighborhood street-food kiosks within residential communities. Compact, colorful, and community-focused, each Nukkad kiosk brings authentic Indian street flavors directly to housing societies—making quality vegetarian snacks easily accessible without stepping out.

The menu features comfort favorites like Pav Bhaji, Pani Puri, Samosa, Dahi Puri, Chole Bhature, and regional specialties from across India, all prepared with TCA’s emphasis on hygiene, quality, and flavor uniformity.

Beyond food, Nukkad is positioned as an empowerment-driven business platform. The model supports homemakers, young women, and specially-abled individuals by giving them a guided, low-risk entrepreneurial opportunity within secure and familiar residential settings. Most kiosks will be operated by women, with 80–90% of outlets projected to be women-led.“With Nukkad, we are not just serving food; we are creating livelihoods,” said Shiju Pappen, Founder & CEO, The Chatpata Affair. “Our aim is to make entrepreneurship accessible by offering a simple, scalable, and community-based business model.”

Currently active in premium residential townships across Gurgaon, each kiosk is already generating up to ₹3 lakh in monthly revenue, while earning appreciation for its standardized taste and positive social footprint.

Encouraged by early success, TCA is set to expand Nukkad to Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, and Mumbai, followed by global markets including Dubai, Australia, and Singapore. The brand’s 2027 vision includes 100 Nukkad kiosks nationwide, enabling ₹50 crore in annual revenue and empowering at least 100 women and specially-abled entrepreneurs through sustainable, community-led enterprise.
