Mezcalita Continues Expansion with Fourth Mumbai Restaurant at Sky City Mall

Expanding its footprint in Mumbai, Mezcalita, the Mexican cantina from Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality, has launched its fourth outlet at Sky City Mall in Borivali. The opening builds on the brand's presence in Churchgate, Bandra and Bengaluru, while marking its entry into Mumbai's western suburbs.

Situated on the rooftop of Sky City Mall, the new restaurant enhances the mall's food and beverage offerings with authentic Mexican cuisine and a curated selection of agave-based cocktails. The addition aligns with Sky City Mall's strategy of strengthening its position as a lifestyle destination that brings together dining, shopping and entertainment experiences.

The menu has been curated in collaboration with Chef Jonatan Torres Muñoz, a Mexican chef with more than 25 years of culinary expertise. It showcases regional Mexican flavours alongside a dedicated Jain menu and a wide range of vegetarian dishes. Signature offerings include Chip & Dip Méxicana, Chilaquiles, Street Cart Corn, handcrafted tacos, burritos, tortas, Fideo Seco, Flautas Ahogadas, 24-Hour BBQ Pork Ribs, Tres Leches and Cinnamon Churros.

Complementing the food is a beverage programme centred on tequila- and mezcal-based cocktails, featuring creations such as Cha-Chinga, Oaxaca to Osaka, La Pomela and Margarita Pitchers.

The interiors draw inspiration from Mexican culture through vibrant artwork, handcrafted décor and a striking 68-foot serape-inspired canopy. The design also incorporates elements that pay homage to Borivali's close proximity to Sanjay Gandhi National Park, creating a distinctive dining atmosphere.
