MakeMyTrip Ties Up With Minor Hotels to Boost Premium International Stays for Indian Travellers
Currently, around 60 Minor Hotels properties are live on the MakeMyTrip platform, with plans to rapidly expand listings across the group’s global portfolio.

MakeMyTrip has announced a strategic partnership with global hospitality group Minor Hotels, giving Indian travellers expanded access to more than 560 premium and luxury hotel properties across key international destinations.

The collaboration aligns with MakeMyTrip’s push to scale its direct international hotel inventory as demand for overseas travel from India continues to rise. Over the past year, the platform sold nearly 78,000 unique hotels across more than 4,350 cities in 192 countries, with international hotel bookings growing steadily. In 2025, the number of unique hotels sold increased by 17 percent over the previous year, with close to one-third of bookings coming from the premium segment and average room-night prices exceeding ₹15,000.

Through the partnership, MakeMyTrip users will be able to book stays across Minor Hotels’ diverse brand portfolio, which includes Anantara Hotels & Resorts, NH Collection Hotels & Resorts, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, Avani Hotels & Resorts, nhow Hotels & Resorts, Elewana Collection, Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites, and several others. The properties span business hotels and leisure resorts across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, catering to a wide range of travel needs such as business trips, city breaks, and extended holidays.

Currently, around 60 Minor Hotels properties are live on the MakeMyTrip platform, with plans to rapidly expand listings across the group’s global portfolio. Twelve of these hotels have already been tagged as ‘Loved by Indians’, a MakeMyTrip marker that highlights international stays offering greater comfort and familiarity for Indian travellers, including preferred dining options, convenient locations, and easier accessibility.

Rajesh Magow, Co-Founder and Group CEO of MakeMyTrip, said the partnership reflects the company’s focus on working closely with leading global hotel groups to enhance both the quality and relevance of international accommodation for Indian customers. He added that the collaboration goes beyond inventory expansion to better align offerings with Indian traveller expectations.

Ian Di Tullio, Chief Commercial Officer at Minor Hotels, said India remains a key growth market for the group. He noted that Minor Hotels is committed to strengthening its appeal for Indian guests by introducing experiences and features across properties that resonate more closely with their preferences.

The partnership marks another step in MakeMyTrip’s strategy to position itself as a preferred platform for Indian travellers booking premium and luxury stays worldwide.
