Acai Theory, a health focused quick service restaurant brand, has secured Rs 4 crore in a pre seed funding round led by All In Capital, with participation from TDV Partners and a group of angel investors, including former Zomato Food Delivery COO Rinshul Chandra, Harpreet Grover, Anurag Prasad, Fragaria CEO Harish Varadarajan, among others.
According to the company, the funds will be used to support expansion, strengthen the team, and enhance brand visibility, alongside investments in supply chain capabilities and research and development.
The brand’s menu is centred around superfoods, with a focus on nutrient dense açaí bowls that combine indulgence with a healthy positioning.
Positioning itself at the intersection of health and indulgence, the Bengaluru-based startup is building a QSR platform that blends taste, nutrition, and convenience through nutrient dense açaí bowls. It follows a QSR first, assembly only model with no live cooking, enabling faster service and consistent quality.
The company currently operates its flagship outlet in Bengaluru, where it claims to have served over 10,000 bowls in the six months since its launch in October 2025. Built around açaí, a globally popular Amazonian superfood from Brazil, the menu includes a variety of açaí bowls, smoothies, and superfood based snacks.
Looking ahead, the startup plans to expand to 8 to 10 outlets across Bengaluru, establish a central kitchen to maintain consistency, and deploy AI led tools along with digitised SOPs to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
In the evolving health QSR segment, it may compete with emerging players such as Lyfberry, Acai By The Bay, and Temple of the Senses.
