Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has brought his globally popular Street Pizza concept to India with the opening of its first outlet at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA), Terminal 2, International Departure Zone. The debut marks a significant addition to India’s evolving airport food and beverage landscape, blending chef-led dining with the speed and convenience demanded by modern travellers.

The Mumbai launch follows the successful introduction of Gordon Ramsay Street Burger at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport and represents the second India opening under the partnership between Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global, master franchisee Travel Food Services Limited (TFS), and Semolina Kitchens Private Limited (SKPL). The collaboration aligns with Adani Airports’ broader vision of transforming Indian airports into world-class lifestyle destinations.

Designed specifically for the pace of air travel, Street Pizza offers a menu that balances bold flavours with quick service. The Mumbai outlet features a mix of the brand’s global favourites alongside India-inspired creations tailored to local palates. Signature offerings include Tandoori Paneer Pizza and Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza, while classic options such as Margherita, The Londoner with burrata, and the Next Level pizza remain central to the menu. The offering is complemented by sharable sides like spicy wings and dirty fries, along with desserts including the brand’s well-known Sticky Toffee Pudding.

The brand maintains globally standardised culinary processes, with dough prepared using Street Pizza’s signature technique and toppings built around premium cheeses, slow-cooked sauces, quality meats, and responsibly sourced vegetables. The focus, according to the operators, is on consistency and quality without compromising speed.

With over 55 million passengers annually, Mumbai Airport provides a high-visibility platform for the brand’s India journey. The outlet’s design reflects Street Pizza’s energetic, urban identity, featuring an open kitchen, bold graphics, neon accents, and flexible seating aimed at creating a lively social atmosphere within the terminal.

Varun Kapur, MD & CEO of Travel Food Services Limited, said the launch reflects changing expectations among Indian travellers, who increasingly seek global-quality, expressive dining experiences even while in transit. Gaurav Dewan, COO of TFS, added that Mumbai is just the beginning, with plans to expand the concept across key travel hubs in the country.

Globally, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants operates across major international airports, including Heathrow and Doha, and its India expansion underscores the growing demand for premium, chef-driven dining experiences in airport environments.
